The PSD president stated on Wednesday that he is open to a rotating government and all the conditions proposed by Ilie Bolojan and Dominic Fritz in a potential political agreement, but only if the PSD gets to nominate the prime minister first.
During a press conference at Parliament, Sorin Grindeanu expressed no hesitation in “discussing and finding common ground” regarding a governing agreement and stated that he would sign it “right now, on the spot” if Bolojan and Fritz were to do the same. “Let Bolojan and Fritz come and sign it too, right now, on the spot. Let Bolojan vote for a PSD minority government,” Grindeanu declared.

Additionally, the interim leader of the PSD mentioned that the party cannot collaborate with AUR leader George Simion, although he respects AUR voters. “I respect AUR voters, but at this moment, we cannot discuss collaboration with Simion. A collaboration with Simion is not possible,” he stated.

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) announced on Wednesday its intention to initiate proceedings for the suspension of President Nicușor Dan. The party will also engage in discussions with other political parties to secure support for this action. Additionally, AUR has decided to start the process for organizing early elections and declared that its lawmakers will not vote for any government formed by the current coalition.
This decision was made during an extraordinary meeting of the AUR National Executive Council (CNC), held on Wednesday in Alexandria, Teleorman County. AUR’s press release stated that all 135 CNC members present unanimously voted to initiate the procedure for suspending the president and to begin dialogues with other political forces to gather support for this initiative.
AUR Cites Political and Constitutional GroundsIn its press release, AUR outlined reasons for its move, stating that a significant portion of Romanians has been excluded from participating in decisions about Romania’s future. The party also contended that President Nicușor Dan refused to nominate a second candidate for prime minister, which AUR views as contrary to the Constitution. During the same meeting, members of the National Executive Council unanimously voted to proceed with organizing early elections. According to the press release, AUR believes that it is essential to “return to the people” by holding new parliamentary elections.
AUR Lawmakers Will Not Support Future GovernmentsFurthermore, on Wednesday, AUR’s leadership decided that its lawmakers will not participate in or support any coalition government proposed by President Nicușor Dan. The party states that this decision is part of the political strategy adopted following the extraordinary meeting of the National Leadership Council.
The procedure for suspending the president is governed by the Romanian Constitution, requiring adherence to the parliamentary steps outlined by law, including a vote in Parliament. If Parliament approves the suspension, the final decision will rest with the citizens through a referendum.
In their review of the preliminary injunction filed by the anti-Bolojan camp, the judges issued the following ruling:

This decision can be appealed within five days of its announcement. The appeal must be filed with the Bucharest Tribunal, Third Civil Section. The decision was pronounced on July 1, 2026, and was made available to the parties through the court clerk’s office.
According to some sources, the judges of the Bucharest Tribunal also annulled the acts following the decision of the PNL Extraordinary National Council, specifically regarding the organization and conduct of the Liberal Congress held on June 21, 2026.
The legal proceedings initiated by the challengers of the dismissed Prime Minister Bolojan were represented by attorneys Roxana Tudose and Claudia Cliza. Ilie Bolojan’s opponents filed a preliminary injunction with the court, seeking to temporarily suspend the effects of the PNL Extraordinary National Council’s decision to convene the PNL Congress.
The plaintiffs in this case include: Monica Anisie, Andrei Baciu, Lucian Bode, Rareș Bogdan, Sorin Câmpeanu, Alina Gorghiu, Ion Iordache, Aneta Matei, Ciprian Pandea, Nicoleta Pauliuc, Sorin Prișcă, Rusu Sebastian, George Scarlat, Dragoș Soare, Ionuț Stroe, Thuma Hubert, Adrian Veștea, and Mihail Veștea.
The defendants are: the PNL, represented by Ilie Bolojan; Ilie Bolojan, president of the PNL; and Dan Motreanu, secretary general of the PNL.
Lawsuits have been filed with the Bucharest Tribunal challenging the decisions made at the PNL Extraordinary Congress held on June 21, 2026. These challenges are based on alleged illegal decisions made by the Extraordinary National Council on June 19, 2026, as well as the acts adopted pursuant to those decisions, according to the plaintiffs.
The anti-Bolojan camp has filed four lawsuits with the Bucharest Tribunal, seeking:1. The annulment of Decision No. 01/2026 made by the PNL Extraordinary Congress on June 21, 2026, which establishes the “automatic” expulsion of members who vote for, support, or participate in the formation of a government with the PSD that deviates from the established political line.
2. The annulment of Decision No. 02/2026 of the PNL Extraordinary Congress dated June 21, 2026, which called for the resignation of several members and mandated the initiation of expulsion procedures.
3. The annulment of the act electing the party’s new leadership through the “Modernization with Roots” motion (President, First Vice President, Secretary General, and the eight Vice Presidents).
4. The annulment of the act ratifying the amendments to the PNL Statutes.
The plaintiffs have also requested that all subsequent acts adopted based on these decisions be declared null and void. Among the grounds for the claims of illegality are:
– The resolutions were adopted based on a draft statute that had not yet entered into force and, according to Law No. 14/2003, could not produce legal effects prior to its approval by the Bucharest Tribunal. As of the date of the Congress, this draft had not been submitted to the court, approved, or published in the Official Gazette; the only statute with legal effect at that time was the one approved in 2025.

– The “automatic” exclusion established by these decisions violates the statutory disciplinary procedure, the right to a defense, and an enforceable court order.

Potrivit ministrului Finanțelor, Alexandru Nazare, modificarea vine în contextul procesului de modernizare a administrației fiscale și urmărește simplificarea obligațiilor de conformare pentru companii.
„Actualizăm o regulă veche de peste 20 de ani și o aducem într-o formă mai clară, mai simplă și mai apropiată de modul în care funcționează astăzi companiile”, a declarat ministrul.
Acesta a subliniat că posibilitatea ținerii registrului în format electronic reduce birocrația, costurile administrative și timpul necesar pentru evidențele fiscale.
„Registrul de evidență fiscală este un instrument tehnic important pentru calculul impozitului pe profit, dar acest lucru nu înseamnă că trebuie să rămână blocat în proceduri rigide sau în formate depășite. Permiterea completării registrului și în format electronic reduce birocrația, costurile administrative și timpul pierdut de contribuabili cu obligații de conformare. Mediul de afaceri are nevoie de reguli clare, formulare mai ușor de aplicat și mai puțină ambiguitate în relația cu administrația fiscală. Digitalizarea nu trebuie să rămână un concept abstract, ci trebuie să se vadă în proceduri concrete, în documente mai simple și în interacțiuni mai firești cu statul”, a mai spus el.
Cum va fi completat registrulConform noilor prevederi, Registrul de evidență fiscală va fi completat cu informațiile care stau la baza determinării rezultatului fiscal pozitiv sau negativ, precum și a calculului impozitului pe profit declarat.
Datele vor fi înregistrate în ordine cronologică, astfel încât operațiunile relevante să poată fi identificate și verificate mai ușor de autorități.
Registrul se completează trimestrial și/sau anual, în funcție de perioada fiscală aplicabilă contribuabililor.
Ministerul Finanțelor precizează că măsura are caracter tehnic și administrativ și nu modifică regulile de fond privind calculul impozitului pe profit. Obiectivul este organizarea mai clară a informațiilor și adaptarea procedurilor fiscale la cerințele actuale ale mediului economic.
Cazul a ieșit la iveală după ce imaginile au devenit virale pe rețelele sociale, iar autoritățile au anunțat ulterior că agenții au fost deferiți justiției.
