Grupul Hexagon, controlat de antreprenorul clujean Florin Mariş, a achiziţionat platforma industrială CUG din Cluj-Napoca, într-o tranzacţie estimată la peste 20 milioane de euro, devenind una dintre cele mai mari achiziţii de teren din România din ultimii zece ani. Cu o suprafaţă de 32 de hectare, aceasta este depăşită ca dimensiune doar de cea realizată de Vastint în Bucureşti, care a cumpărat 47 de hectare în zona Străuleşti–Siseşti.
Fluxul net de investiţii străine directe (ISD) în bănci şi asigurări a scăzut uşor în anul 2024 la 1,63 mld. euro, de la 1,74 mld. euro în 2023, intermedierile financiare şi asigurările fiind unul dintre principalele domenii economice în care s-a investit, alături de industrie şi comerţ, după cum reiese din datele băncii centrale.
